Cathy Gilbert -- Senior Education Consultant

  • Cathy Gilbert joined Professional Learning Associates in 2005 as an Education Consultant. An educator for over twenty years, she has taught almost every grade level, from Pre-school through college, having earned an Associate degree from College of DuPage, a Bachelor degree from National-Louis, and a Master of Education degree in Curriculum Design and Development from Benedictine University. She is an adjunct Liberal Arts instructor at College of DuPage, distinguished as a “Part-time Teacher of the Year” in 2003.

    Cathy is mother to four and grandmother to eight, and has been married for thirty-four years. She was born and raised in Chicago, but moved to the western suburbs over twenty-five years ago. She enjoys teaching, both English and art, as well as spending time with her grandchildren.
