January 2012 – University of Southern California is offering Graduate Continuing Education Units for Common
Core Black Belt Certification! The University of Southern California has recognized the comprehensive body of work involved in the Common Core Black Belt Certification program, and as a result, they are recognizing 100 hours of instructional participation for those who complete Common Core Black Belt Certification!
Upon program completion, participants may apply for Ten (10) Continuing Education Units (CEUs) which equates to 3.1 Graduate Semester Hours.

August 2011 – Collaborative Learning worked with The Common Core Institute to design a Common Core aligned Lesson Planner for teachers!
The Common Core Lesson Planner begins the transition by incorporating essential, daily prompts, common terminology, embedded scaffolding and instructional
strategies. It is designed to help your administrators, curriculum directors, teacher leaders, teachers and students ease away from memorization to skills mastery and higher-level thinking. It also helps teachers plan lessons that include the key components required by the Common Core Standards.

May 2011 – Purdue University has acknowledged the 2011 National Conference on Common Core State Standards and School Improvement as an important learning opportunity for all educators. Purdue has created two credit options for conference attendees: 1.8 Continuing Education Units (CEU) or 1 semester hour of graduate credit – EDST 58900 Curriculum Leadership Planning. This three-day conference features more than 30 engaging sessions focused on key issues and challenges facing educators today.
